Lateral Capital Ventures (LCV) is a boutique technical venture capital investment firm specialising in high growth, strategic investments through a portfolio of Seed, Series A to B, Mezzanine level and pre ASX listing technology companies. Our main focus is to provide high shareholder returns by investing at the right entry level, assist the founders and management on executing their performance milestones, then exit within a pre-planned window.

Leveraging off a 30 plus year old technology agency, Lateral, our industry expertise and proven track record of commercial acumen has become the foundation blocks to identifying the correct technology to the correct industry, to either disrupt the traditional “bricks and mortar business” or to provide a high shareholder return.

This capability has become a great asset as Lateral are already doing the technical due diligence on over 60% of the pre ASX listing ventures. Our reputation and niche skill set has also brought exclusive opportunities, not available to the retail or wholesale capital market which has provided great equity returns to our investment community. This coupled with the extensive network the LCV Directors have in the Australian investment community gives LCV unique access to a vast range of technology opportunities. However, without adequate funding, even great innovations with the potential for success struggle to navigate from concept to actually building, testing, marketing and running profitably.

Our aim is to build an organisation capable of rapidly identifying, validating, investing and building high potential tech projects to bring them to a successful listing on the Australian and international capital markets. We achieve this by supporting tech companies with  a structured, technical capability, supported by a strong marketing, business development and public/ investor relations platform, to increase the chance of successfully delivering to the market and shareholders.

LCV is a venture capital firm located in Australia, founded by local entrepreneurs who have a great market intelligence on the local investment and technology scene.

LCV has substantial deal flow and exclusive access to high growth investment opportunities in the technology sector providing significant opportunities for sophisticated shareholders.

LCV is the Special Purpose Vehicle to invest directly into technology companies, not withstanding, traditional ‘bricks and mortar’ businesses who wish to transform into a digital company to maximise their current assets and workflow.

Targeting flexible returns to shareholders over time by value creation, dividends, capital returns and share sales (exits).
